Simply H.E.R. Care Program
Simply H.E.R. Care Program is a program that is catered toward helping the whole person and providing the very basic needs for human life. The following services are provided under the Simply H.E.R. Care Program:
- Food: Providing food for residents who demonstrate a real need.
- Clothing: Providing used or new clothes to residents from donations received from various donors.
- Housing: This program connects with various departments, such as Housing Authority in order to find reasonable housing for residents who have been displaced, evicted, or without a home. The program also works with residents to help pay rent up to 1 month per year.
- Transportation: The transportation program provides transportation for residents who need rides to mandatory meetings, work, business, or other important related duties.
Kid'z Zone

Kid’z Zone = an after-school kids’ program that is catered toward helping children find a healthy environment to go to after school. Each day of the week will be dedicated toward a specific learning area, and an art. The afterschool program will provide the following:
- Arts and crafts
- Food/Dinner
- Learning curriculum: 4H Curriculum (6yrs old-18 yrs. old), Discover Your Pasion TGREDU (13yrs.old-18 yrs. old), S.P.A.R.K. Mentoring Plan (13yrs-18 yrs. old)
- math, science, finance principles (saving) & computers
- Reading
- Acting
- Dance
- Creative Writing.
Workforce Readiness Program

Workforce Readiness Program
Workforce Readiness Program = a program that helps to educate and train residents ranging from ages 16 years old and older. The goal of this program is to equip underprivileged individuals with the necessary skills to compete in the job market, and gain higher level working positions. Furthermore, GED and College Preparatory classes are also offered within the Readiness Program to help better prepare young adults to lower the gap for college entrance within underprivileged communities. Readiness Programs are offered in the following areas:
- Computer Literacy: Providing residents with computer knowledge to broaden their understanding of technology.
- Entrepreneurship: Provides residents with the knowledge and understanding needed to develop their own business, or run a business. A great course that is useful to residents who want to enter into business institutions.
- Green Cleaning: Providing residents with the skills they need to provide eco-friendly cleaning. This course is ideal for prospects who seek to gain employment in a “green clean” environment.
- Child Care: The program provides hours for residents who seek to gain their accreditation in child care work. This course is ideal for residents who seek to own a child care facility, or work with children in a professional environment.
- College Prep: The course provides ACT and SAT preparation to students seeking to take the standardized exams for entry into college. Furthermore, the courses provide information about how to gain access to college resources, money, and filing for financial aid.
- GED Prep/Examination: This course provides GED preparation and examination for students who did not complete a High School Diploma.
- Customer Service: These courses will teach residents about work ethic, as it relates to serving customer’s needs, and how to behave with irate customers. It is course that helps residents develop their professional selves within the work environment. This course is ideal for residents who want to work in the customer oriented positions.
- Financial Literacy: Financial course are available to residents who feel they need to learn more about personal or business finances. Clients will learn the importance of personal
- budgeting, saving, and prioritizing finances. These skills will also be beneficial to residents who desire to develop their own business, as majority of these skills can be implemented both personally and professionally.
Soon, Workforce will be launching two programs under the Workforce Readiness Program, Computer Literacy and Child Care.
